Plant Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate some direct sunlight. Too much direct sun may cause leaf burn.
• Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Keep the soil moist but not soggy, and ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 60-85°F (15-29°C). Protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity but can tolerate normal indoor humidity. Mist occasionally if air is dry.
• Soil: Well-draining, slightly acidic soil. A general potting mix with some added perlite or sand works well.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced, diluted fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop fertilizing in the winter.
• Pruning: Trim any leggy or damaged stems to maintain a tidy shape. It can tolerate light pruning and will bounce back quickly.
• Pests: Generally pest-resistant, but can occasionally attract scale or mealybugs. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested, so keep it out of reach of cats and dogs.
