Plant Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate low light but may grow slower and have less vibrant leaves.
• Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Avoid overwatering, as Dracaenas are sensitive to root rot. Ensure good drainage.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity but can tolerate normal indoor conditions. Mist occasionally if the air is very dry.
• Soil: Well-draining, lightweight potting mix. A general houseplant mix works well.
• Fertilizing: Feed once a month with a balanced, diluted fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop feeding in winter.
• Pruning: Remove any yellow or dead leaves to keep the plant tidy. You can also trim the top to encourage bushier growth.
• Pests: Dracaenas are fairly pest-resistant but can occasionally attract spider mites or mealybugs. Treat with insecticidal soap if needed.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested, so keep away from cats and dogs.
