Plant Care

• Light: Prefers bright, direct light but can tolerate some indirect light. The more sunlight, the better for growth and vibrant foliage.
• Water: Water when the top 2-3 inches of soil are dry. Yuccas are drought-tolerant, so avoid overwatering. Ensure the soil drains well.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-85°F (18-29°C). Avoid temperatures below 50°F (10°C) and cold drafts.
• Humidity: Tolerates low humidity, making it a good plant for dry indoor environments.
• Soil: Well-draining, sandy or cactus mix is ideal. Good drainage is essential to prevent root rot.
• Fertilizing: Feed monthly with a balanced fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid fertilizing in winter.
• Pruning: Trim any dead or damaged leaves. You can remove old growth to help the plant maintain its shape and encourage new shoots.
• Pests: Can attract mealybugs or spider mites, but is generally pest-resistant. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested.
