Plant Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate low light. In low light, its growth may slow, and the leaves may lose some of their vibrancy.
• Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Aglaonemas don’t like to be overwatered, so ensure the soil drains well and let it dry out slightly between waterings.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Keep it away from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Prefers moderate humidity but can adapt to average indoor conditions. Mist occasionally or use a humidity tray if the air is too dry.
• Soil: Well-draining, lightweight potting mix. A general houseplant mix works well.
• Fertilizing: Feed monthly with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce feeding in the fall and winter when the plant is dormant.
• Pruning: Remove any yellow or damaged leaves to keep the plant looking tidy. Aglaonemas are slow growers, so pruning is minimal.
• Pests: Can attract spider mites, mealybugs, or aphids. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested, so keep out of reach of animals.
