Plant Care

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sunlight but too much can scorch the leaves.
• Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Keep the soil moist, but avoid waterlogging as it can lead to root rot.
• Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Avoid temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Thrives in high humidity. Mist regularly or use a humidity tray to keep the air moist.
• Soil: Well-draining, peat-based potting mix. A general houseplant mix with added perlite works well.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring to summer).
• Pruning: Remove spent flowers and yellowing leaves to keep the plant looking tidy and encourage new growth.
• Pests: Can attract aphids or mealybugs. Treat with insecticidal soap if needed.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested, so keep out of reach of animals.
