Plant Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct sunlight but avoid intense midday sun to prevent leaf burn.
• Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Let the soil dry out between waterings, but avoid letting it stay too dry for too long.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Tolerates average humidity but prefers higher humidity. Mist occasionally or use a humidifier if the air is dry.
• Soil: Well-draining potting mix. A mix designed for houseplants works well.
• Fertilizing: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a balanced, diluted fertilizer. Reduce feeding in fall and winter.
• Pruning: Trim any dead or damaged leaves. You can also prune back to control its size and shape.
• Pests: Can attract spider mites, aphids, or mealybugs. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested, so keep away from cats and dogs.
