Plant Care

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the fronds. It can tolerate lower light but may grow more slowly.
• Water: Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and ensure the pot drains well to avoid root rot.
• Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 60-75°F (16-24°C). Keep away from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Thrives in high humidity. Mist regularly or use a humidity tray to keep the air moist, especially in dry indoor conditions.
• Soil: Well-draining, slightly acidic potting mix. A general houseplant mix with added perlite works well.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring to summer).
• Pruning: Remove any dead or brown fronds regularly to keep the plant looking tidy.
• Pests: Can attract spider mites or aphids. Treat with insecticidal soap if needed.
• Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets, making it safe for homes with animals.
