Plant Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
• Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Be careful not to overwater; let the soil dry out slightly between waterings. Ensure good drainage to prevent root rot.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Protect from drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Mist occasionally or place the plant on a humidity tray if the air is dry.
• Soil: Well-draining, loamy potting mix. A general houseplant mix works well.
• Fertilizing: Feed once a month with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer). Cut back on feeding in fall and winter.
• Pruning: Remove any yellow or damaged leaves to keep the plant looking tidy. You can also trim the stems to shape the plant or promote branching.
• Pests: Generally pest-resistant but can attract aphids or spider mites. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested.
