Plant Care

• Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Fluorescent light also works well.
• Water: Water when the top of the soil feels dry, but avoid getting water on the leaves. Water from the bottom by placing the pot in a saucer of water for 15 minutes to prevent leaf spots.
• Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Keep away from drafts, air conditioners, or heating vents.
• Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity. Mist lightly or place on a humidity tray if the air is dry.
• Soil: Well-draining, lightweight potting mix, preferably one designed for African violets or houseplants.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer formulated for flowering plants every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.
• Pruning: Remove dead flowers and damaged leaves regularly to encourage new blooms and keep the plant looking tidy.
• Pests: Can attract mealybugs, aphids, or spider mites. Treat with insecticidal soap if needed.
• Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets, making it safe for homes with animals.
