Plant Care

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate lower light, but variegation may fade, and growth will slow.
• Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Let the soil dry out slightly between waterings to prevent overwatering.
• Temperature: Thrives in temperatures between 65-75°F (18-24°C). Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F (10°C).
• Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity. Mist the leaves or place on a humidity tray if the air is dry.
• Soil: Well-draining potting mix.
• Fertilizing: Feed monthly during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce or stop feeding in fall and winter.
• Pruning: Trim leggy growth to maintain a bushier appearance. Syngoniums can be easily propagated from cuttings.
• Pests: Can attract spider mites, aphids, or mealybugs. Treat with insecticidal soap if necessary.
• Toxicity: Toxic to pets if ingested.
